Stephan de Wet
Stephan qualified as a Chartered Accountant (SA) in 1986. Until 1989 he worked for the South African Revenue Services where he also completed related tax specialist qualifications.
In 1989 he was appointed as Financial Director of Capital Computer Bureau. In addition to his financial responsibilities, he became involved in project management aspects of the business and has become closely involved with the development of the insurance and financial services systems at Capital due to his financial background.
In 1994 Stephan co-founded Futura and was appointed Managing Director in 1996, a position he still occupies. In 2003 Stephan initiated and is successfully managing the implementation of the black economic empowerment strategy of Futura to ensure it remains a relevant competitor.
He brings with him a number of expert skills, inter alia, taxation, financial and treasury management, risk management, project management, business analysis and financial services systems expertise.
L'Re van Rooyen
L’Re spent four and a half years in the South African National Defence Force, where she rose to the ranks of 2nd Lieutenant and then Adjutant of 35 Engineer Support Regiment, after passing courses at the School of Engineers Advanced Training Wing.
Thereafter she moved to the Middle East, where she distinguished herself as a Leadership Developer and Leadership Consultant.
L’Re joined Fundi Financial Solutions in 2015 and brings her communications and man-management skills, planning and project management experience, problem solving ability and adaptability into a financial advisory capacity, with a view to adding value to the growing Fundi family.
Marcell Trollip
Marcelle started her working career at Sanlam, where she worked her way up from a new business assistant to a Top Ten Consultant. Thereafter she held positions at a number of independent financial advisors, where she distinguished herself in her ability to manage the back offices of the company and assisting the owners and principles of the companies.
In 2007 she moved into the Tourism industry and similarly, excelled there too in office administration and as personal assistant to the CEO of The Tourism Industry.
Marcelle joined Fundi Financial Solutions in 2014 and is once again managing the back office operations, with her customary skill and expertise.
